the company has decided to waive the barging fee of $2500 that used to be charged for positioning of barges from South of Hormuz Island to Larak Island. Since the barges are now mostly stationed at the new location repositioning is no longer necessary. This incentive option has now been extended to the other BGK Bunkers at offshore locations, South of Hormuz island and in the Strait of Hormuz.

BGK Bunkers has been offering its bunkering services at the new Larak position since Februar2009, bringing ship owners the advantage of delivering bunkers closer to shipping lanes so that the deviation is minimal. At the same time it brings all the usual advantages of offshore bunkering. Since there is no bunker call in port there are no charges to pay and the paperwork is simplified.
